Siemens Combined Heat and Power

Cost Effective and Environmentally Friendly

When heat is required for industrial processing or facility services, a Siemens Combined Heat and Power system is a viable alternative to a traditional electricity and heat supply. As Siemen's Eastern Canadian Distributor, we have all the necessary capabilities to design, supply and service your cogeneration system.  Whether you grow vegetables, or you're a manufaturerer or own your own commerical buildings – with Semiens' proven product range for CHP,  we have the answer to your energy challenges of tomorrow.

How Does CHP Work?

CHP stands for Combined Heat and Power and is a cogeration system designed to improve the energy effiencies of your facility (Manufacturing/Commerical Buildings/Government Investments).  By utilizing an on-site continuous electricity generation system, you are able to capture the heat that would otherwise be wasted during the energy creating process to create thermal energy (steam or hot water) that can be used for space heating, domestic hot water and in manufacturing processes.

BENEFITS OF Combined Heat and Power

More for less

Only 35-60% of the fuel used in conventional power systems is converted to useful power.  However, CHP allows for the utilization of heat and can achieve efficiency levels of up to 90%. For your business, this means more value for less.

Save money

CHP customers can see an overall reduction of energy costs by up to 30% while simultaneously achieving a 15-40% decrease in carbon emissions. Profitability can be further increased for industrial applications by exporting excess power to the local grid.

Flexibility

These highly efficient, low emission systems are designed for various applications especially continuous and prime power duties. These machines are suitable for a broad range of industrial applications and are built to run for hundreds of thousands of hours making them an excellent investment.
